This book is exactly what I've been searching for! I have used Erin's materials before and found them very thorough and straight forward. However, teaching 6th grade required me to provide a lot of support to many of my students who struggle with reading comprehension.
This workbook meets my ELL and IEP students exactly where they are. It provides simple and engaging activities that I can implement tomorrow in my classroom. These materials can be utilized immediately without much prep required at all! Middle school students (and teachers) often get left out but this resource is the perfect complement to any civics curriculum . – Josephine H.
I could not be happier with what I found in this workbook. There are resources for local, state and federal, too. I like to have my students know information about all three levels. I start the Constitution and Civics in two weeks.
I also love the worksheets at the end about the Statue of Liberty, and national monuments. This workbook will be a resource I will be using for a long time. I can't wait to start using it. – Joe M.
